Tour details
Cala Sisine is the largest cove in this gulf: it’s the last part of a huge valley, named Codula di Sisine, which creates a wonderful mountain frame at the back of the sand, where the green of the Mediterranean scrub prevails.
Hike description
It takes about 1 hour by 4-wheel drive car, plus 45 min. walking (2 km) to reach Cala Sisine. The trail follows the dry riverbed of the Codula di Sisine, so there aren’t any particular difficulties nor gradient. This kind of hike is ideal for those who don’t want to do something very strenuous, but still have the opportunity to discover majestic landscapes, like only the Supramonte of Baunei can offer, with its combination of sea and mountains.
Difficulty of the hike to Cala Sisine: very easy trail (T)
